Every calculation on AbleGauge includes a "Why this number?" explanation citing an official source — the Social Security Administration / SSA POMS, the ABLE National Resource Center, or an official state ABLE program site — never a blog post, and never IRS.gov, which is confirmed out of date on 2026 ABLE figures. Every fact also carries a "last verified" date, so you can see exactly when it was last checked against the source, not just that it was checked at some point.
