The calculator

The ABLE/SSI calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you type in — ABLE balance, other countable resources, YTD contributions, and the optional ABLE-to-Work fields — are used only to compute your results on your own device using JavaScript. They are not transmitted to AbleGauge, stored on any server, or saved anywhere once you close or reload the page. If you want to keep a record of a result, you'd need to save or screenshot it yourself.

The early-access form

If you submit your email address through a "Join Early Access" form on this site, that email address is the only thing you're submitting, and it is collected only for the purpose of notifying you when the AbleGauge app becomes available.

Current status: this form does not yet actually send your email anywhere. This preview site has no real email-capture service connected yet — no account with a provider like Formspree, ConvertKit, or Mailchimp exists at this stage. The form validates your email format client-side and shows a message explaining that signups aren't live yet; it does not silently pretend to succeed. Once a real service is connected, this page will be updated to accurately describe what is collected, how it's stored, and how you can opt out.

Analytics

This site includes the Google Analytics 4 (GA4) tracking snippet, currently pointed at a placeholder property ID that is not a real, active GA4 account — no usage data is currently being collected anywhere real. When a real GA4 property is connected for the live site, this policy will be updated to describe what's collected (e.g. page views and the product interaction events described in our internal documentation) and how to opt out.

Regardless of analytics provider, we do not send the raw dollar amounts you enter into the calculator to analytics — only bucketed ranges (e.g. "$50,000–$100,000") and result statuses (e.g. "SAFE"), never a figure that could reveal your exact balance.

No sensitive data collection

This site does not ask for your Social Security number, bank login, ABLE program login, medical information, or government ID. The only personal data ever collected here is the email address you'd voluntarily provide to an early-access form.

Cookies

This site does not set its own tracking cookies. The GA4 snippet may set cookies typical of Google Analytics once a real property is connected; none are active while it points at the placeholder ID.
